This video, “The Ship of White Dreams” is the 2nd installment of The Colored Dreams Series, a narrated storybook format of an illustrated story I wrote back in 2011 and published on my blog. The inspiration for this story came from my impressions and fascination with DB Bailey’s (now gone) sim Locus in SL, an amazing surreal entire world of color, surprises and beauty. This breathtaking sim is now lost to us forever, but a few images you will see in this story were taken there, by me and by DB himself.
I am eternally grateful to him for the encouragement and influence to write this story. The Colored Dreams Series will be 6 separate YouTubes. The Ship of White Dreams is the second video. The Red Room was the first and can be watched here:

Thanks so much Joey for following this story along again, 12 years later. I hope you agree, it has adapted itself very much to our new “Storybook” style. Oh my haha MJ was soooo frustrating.. After we thought we might have a good one of our heroine, it puts a giant ROSE Tattoo on her shoulder.. I mean Helloo!! Did we ever say Red Tattoo haha. It was comically frustrating but with your persistance and a few tweaks by our in house Fine Editor, Menubar, I think we pulled it off… So there was no way to get her to dive down…that was really annoying, until I came up with the idea to say she was bungee jumping (harness, ropes and all) but we used it finally, erasing along the way:) :):) Thank you for being the very best creative partner, an avatar could ever want:) Happy New Year to you Dale!!! 🥳

First thank you Dale for all your beautiful expertise, for DB Bailey and for Clint Mansell for the beautiful music. Dearest Karima your prose is like a story that feels like a transition from the comfort of your red room and comfortable lounge to the beginning of a transition to heaven. The writing is so exquisitely provocative in everyway. The colors again are gorgeous and peaceful at the same time. The ship does look like it is made of glass I thought that immediately before you talked about it. Love the way the red room is a sensual transformation so you drink trusting and quickly. I love the way you are able to once again come to the ship, you accept the glass sails and then before we know it you are ascending freely and comfortable, then I think you hesitate because you perhaps become fearful yet again, you no longer hear the voice, so you head back to the ship, searching for the ship’s pilot – your journey partner or perhaps the voice of God I am no longer sure but I am engaged and holding my breath waiting to see what will happen next. You become the fluid once again except this time you can swim and breathe like anyone, like a mermaid something we have all dreamed about as children. Your earthly body slowly mixing with the beautiful colored liquid and you feel completely free of your body. The voice ask you what you are most afraid of and again I think this is the voice of God, He ask you what about the water frightens you the most and you think and tell the truth the sea snake. Then you are transformed into something that moves comfortably in the fluid like you did before but then your body begins to come again and you are heavy and you are no longer feeling that intense feeling of freedom of the physical world. You needed to hear that peaceful instructor again. Again, perhaps the voice of God. What a beautiful piece of work a hypnotic piece that leads me to believe you are being prepared for the transition to heaven by God Himself. Now I must wait for the third one. So lovely are all your words Karima. Just so intensely moving your story. I have lots of thoughts about what this could mean. You should all be so pleased at what a hypnotic piece of work you have made into a movie of light, movement, suspense, drama and so many questions come to mind as one watches you move from one place to the next in this story Karima. I can not wait to watch this piece but I wanted to wait until I was alone. Thank you for sharing this with us. Oh Joni, such a gift for us to see how you immerse yourself and are aware of every detail, You are so perceptive and we can talk about that after we finish this last chapter (#6) I am so pleased you like the writing. This format, of using illustrated slides, of course limits what I can say. I have to try to synthesize each scene, each page, to its essence and hope that is is conveyed in a fluid understandable way. Your comment , I find so assuring in that respect. Yes this voice will become more apparent and as you say, is it God’s an angel? who speaks to her and tries to teach her lessons she will need to know in her personal journey inside the colored dreams. It is my pleasure our pleasure(I know I can speak for Dale too) to share this story with you..I am pretty sure you will hear from him too, but Joni, a person like yourself, beyond perceptive and so willing to share her impressions, is for me the dream-audience!…the one who allows herself to wrap herself up in each scene, each chapter and then…let us know your thoughts and feelings..
