It’s a gray low-cloudy day
and I’m listening to your guitar play
on a YouTube loop
because, it’s still as good
as it used to be and that
makes me really happy.
Time’s traveled around
more than a half century
and yet you sound Wow!
You sound even better now.
Bluesy riffs your fingers running
up and down the neck..
Oh you know it all by heart
it’s up in your head as you’
find and press those frets.
Ageless in your sound
you are the perfect harmony
for a fog- bound afternoon
and I’m the only one here;
you’re playing just for me.
Some scenes need a background theme
and you have written the perfect score.
I’ve been sampling your wares
like hot apple pies
and you’re the roving salesmen
of musical delights.
I’m really glad we had our time
way back when,
You had the magic then
and it’s not gone away..not yet
au contraire,
it’s sounding so hypnotic & smooth
on this laid back afternoon,
you’ve brought me the perfect Blues

Sorry. I was quite overwhelmed after my shoulder surgery and it has taken me many weeks to catch up with all the saved posts.
I certainly hope you are feeling better now Sadje. When I am making videos I have to play catch up too. Nice to see you fully back !
