AI Dreams in Art is Here!!

On August 1st, it all started with one prim, a texture and an idea for my 21st world On Kitely – Virtual Worlds, completely inspired by the enormous quantity of AI Art,
Dale Innis was producing.

Dale had been dabbling with AI Art programs for months and the results were interesting, at times creepy and unsettling… but this new program, *MidJourney, was absolutely amazing!! (more about the program at the end)
I was moved to create spaces and divide up his art into genres that could be enjoyed in immersive  appropriate places. I am so happy he loved the idea and very much got into even building a few galleries, himself.
All paths lead to somewhere..Pick one and see where it takes you:)

Maybe hang out at a Hippie Campsite,  see some Psychedelic Art and listen
to The Youngbloods.

*Disclaimer, an AI has never had a psychedelic experience….and its art demonstrates that….but it’s colorful:)

You might be into beautiful women with snakes…believe me there is something for everyone!!
Have you ever felt like you wanted to dance like a snake, while spinning around and listening to Lana Lubnany’s hypnotic charmer voice sing, “The Snake” in English/Arabic..
You can do it here at Snake Clan!! (Video has sound)

If you enjoy  Retro 40’s music and 40’s 50’s Modernist Art..,.Come to the Hotsy Totsy Club:)
and immerse in the ambience!

Black clouds constantly move over the projected images and it is mesmerizing to sit and watch
this changing wall. Please watch the video and turn on sound.
The music is The Dead Can Dance by Indus!

For those who love Black & White…The Monochrome section is very beautiful.

There is also a movie playing called “Devolution” where some horses de-evolve into something…very unhorse-like. The process is fascinating and the music is Satie:)Snapshot_001

Is anyone ready yet, to make an avatar and come see all this first hand? I am happy to show you how:) All the Art found here is full permission and can be copied and taken with you.
This is just a small taste of what you will find if you visit. This article has already gotten too long, but I just want to share with you, the joy of being able to experience it first hand. My joy lies in being able to create something like this, to curate, the incredible Art that Dale is producing with the MidJourney program.
AI Dreams in Art can be found on this webpage..just click or for Hypergrid Users put in

About Midjourney

MidJourney is an AI system that allows anyone to create artistic images of nearly any kind, just by typing words. A number of these have sprung up lately, based on some recent amazing advances in technology; MidJourney is Dale’s favorite. All of the images in all the various genres around the sim were created by Dale in MidJourney, by choosing words and various system options, and picking the good ones. You can try out MidJourney yourself (the first few dozen are free!) at http://midjourney.com/ ; be warned that the interface is via Discord right now, so it’s not really easy to use.

Yay, so happy to see it announced, so I can publicly say how delighted I am to have you curate my unorganized piles of images into something organized and accessible, not to mention building multiple full immersive experiences around them.

In a few months, everyone will be making crazy amounts of art with these new AI tools, but they won’t be as lucky as I am in their curation. 🙂

    • Oh I love what you say here..Yes soon everyone will be doing it…but I had the luck of being able to make a whole world and spread all your wonderful Art over an entire sim….What a luxury mission I was on:) Thank you for entrusting it to me…the real star is you and your images…:) My pleasure Dale.

I mentioned that a generous friend had offered to curate some of my MidJourney productions: well, here’s the official announcement! I’m all non-ironically delighted. Not only did Karima organize and create venues for some of my vast messy piles of images, she also created entire immersive experiences around some of the genres. Woot!

I realize I haven’t posted here in like a million years 🙂 mostly because I’ve been doing other things, and haven’t quite thought of anything to weblog about in the virtual worlds. But now I’m here to reblog this post from Karima Hoisan, who did me the great honor of curating some of my RL creations into the virtual, with a wonderful Kitely build. Go, read, visit, enjoy!

    • Thank you Kaushal for being so supportive of me..even outside of poetry. Yes this Art Dale was producing made me imagine seeing it in the virtual, where one can walk around discovering the different genres and enjoy the immersive experience of being 3D instead of 2D. So happy we were able to pull it off!!

A beautiful show of art creativity and appreciation, with themes, cultures, moods and historical time-frame reflections, Karima. I also love your art to music coordinations. I was not aware that technology had become the platform for art thru typing. A big help this is, I am sure, for up and coming filmmakers. I love art and I thank you for the delightful journey!

    • Thank you so much for this great comment !! Well i did this in the virtual, so it is not on a webpage but a virtual sim..256X256 square meters..where I can create things from prims, or drag out of my inventory a tree o a building, I have already acquired..96% of my inventory has been gathered over 11 years without cost, as fellow virtual artists share what they have made, It’s pretty amazing:)

Karima I wonder how long this took you two to complete this site. I love the way the music and the giant plant, the massive trees and mushrooms – the lights in the shrub grass look like fireflies. It is like you are swimming within the center of this world through the air, just beautiful.

The ocean sending it’s loud waves over the glass dome and some of the water seeping in is just incredible. I also love the way the globe is in the center of everything happening. It is just so wild to experience the whole thing especially with big screen and your head phones on.

I want to go into the whole thing so I went in and set up an account but I am going to have my honey take a look at the fine print first. I want to visit every gallery. It is literally unreal. Thank you my friend and I will let you know when he can take a look and then I will venture in with him. The artwork looks amazing too. What a big project this is indeed. I felt like I was under the ocean for a moment and I love the octopus you put in there as well. So creative my kind friend. Sending big hugs and lots of love your way. ❤️
