I am pleased to announce my poem, “Your Treasure” is up on Spillwords.com today.
I am very grateful to Dagmara K. Director of Development
and the entire editing team for choosing to publish my poem.
This one has a very personal history, that I have shared in a post I wrote in July
of last year, about a Rumanian refugee poet who went by the name of Lonely Wolf
Although I felt an immediate connection to her poetry…it was a struggle to really
get to know her.
I share with you, “Your Treasure”
How I wanted to climb your high-walled soul,
As I sensed you had something hidden inside,
Something brilliant and battered in gold
Pounded to compassion in a priceless design.

What a beautiful poem…in Karima style…I read it twice…the depth & the rhyming ✨…there are so many amazing lines in this piece…they gave me the visuals how you made connection with her…what Lonely Wolf meant to you…and the struggle to slowly come closer to her…to have her trust…”Something brilliant and battered in gold”…you are a treasure, Karima…many congratulations on being published 💟
