   Great piece nicely constructed. I wonder if anyone remembers party lines, and even more Retro we had a phone line between two farms where you turned a handle to make the phone ring at the other end.

     Oh yes I was a little girl (3 or 4) our first home had one..My mother was always admonishing me to not pick up the phone and listen in hehe
