Hi all,
just to share this poem, which I am pretty sure most of my readers have never seen
as I posted this here in 2011.
It is now in the Volume 2 Issue Summer 2021 of Flora Fiction Magazine, both digital and in print.
You can find the whole issue here online free at: https://florafiction.com/literary-magazine/
Thank you again to Flora Fiction for including my poem in their issue.
I hope you enjoy this free-falling poetic thought:) (Zoom in:)

Congratulations, my dear Karima!!! What an amazing accomplishment and so well deserved! I LOVE your poem! Especially the ending, such a masterful flow. Your words feel as though they are falling into each other in the most beautiful, graceful, special and free way! Thank you for sharing with us 🙏🏻. I thoroughly enjoyed reading 🖤🖤

Dearest Ace, you definitely are one of my most aligned-to me-poetically readers:):) Yes that was the idea..to feel the fall, the choice to let go and the wind whistling around you..the Freedom as you point out. The theme was Freedom by the way, of the whole issue..I think flower freedom counts too…Have you seen them falling on the breeze, maybe from a clift, or an updraft they sail so gently but persistently downwards…Wouldn’t that be a rush? an amazing feeling? Thank you thank you for your intuned comment..I love that we are too❤️🤗🙏🌹🌺🌼🌈🌸

Awww Karima, I love that we are intuned too!!! It’s a true blessing to know you, my dear friend!! YES, I know exactly the moment and rush you are talking about…it’s peaceful, nostalgic, soothing to the soul, divine and metaphorical in so many ways. Thank you for illuminating it in such a beautiful way 🖤🤗

Congratulations, Karima🎉 you deserve it. Every line of the poem gives a sublime touch, e.g. ‘no one can stop revealing this unravelling’, and ‘freedom sigh escapes from lips of clinging leaves’. Throughout the poem, a soothing easy free fall is palpable. Loved reading it. Well done 👍 👌👌

Congratulations on getting this published in a magazine! Using the simple tool of anthropomorphism, you managed to completely bring this flower to life and make it appear more ‘human’ than most. Incredible. This is a poem that I feel people might choose to interpret in many different ways. I see it as the journey from the beginning of life when we’re shy and timid and don’t quite know who we are yet – unti the moment we fuly discover who we are and the way that we want to be. It’s not easy for the flower – it takes courage and strength and it’s not a perfect-looking fall as they make their way down. But they get there eventually. ❤

Thank you thank you Simone for your congratulations and I absolutely love what you say in your comment – what you saw in my poem! I humanized my flower (you are Very right!!) and I love how you interpreted its journey…Yes the shy timid bud changes into the fearless flower that plunges..Your perceptions are just so in-tuned…Yes , the fall is not totally graceful..but it is courageous and they do get to where they were meant to go too:) It does take strength and also belief in the path you are on:):) Thank you again!!🙏❤️🌹🌸

Awww habeebity…thank you thank you! I love you saw the human journey in this free fall…Yes I saw it too, but unconsciously.. I wasn’t aware it was there, until I read it back..Funny, that happens sometimes. The writer, can be the last to know what they are writing about,,,really:):) I adore your comments…I adore You UmAnzar Big Big hugs 🤗🤗🤗❤️❤️
