By the blue virtual sea…
The waves lap and roll
and their energy,
liquid bubbles of blue,
rise up, passing through me
to my brain from my toes.
I feel as well as see
and in this moment
I am at peace
while happiness flows
through me.
I hope you don’t pity me
or think I am escaping reality,
I have just learned a secret…
there is more than one, really…
more than one reality.
A la virtual,
movies play over me;
Try to imagine that
you are the screen…
A moving sidewalk
displays black & white
photography….
I am black and white,
while colorful scenery
surrounds me.
And wherever I am,
I become part of
everything, when
I dance
sit or stand,,
or do Tai Chi..
I built this world,
from just a tear
and an empty green square.
Now, the waves lap the shores,
birds call in the trees,
and I dance and I dance
in noble company.
Tai Chi in a shark pool,
might be a bit extreme,
but they’re not real big sharks;
they just nip and let go.
They’re all bite and no body,
so they move very slow.
Sometimes the water hypnotizes,
I get lost in the changing textured hues
and my avatar mirrors every ripple
as I lose myself in the pose, and move.
I smile at the sharks,
in this constantly moving painting
Surreally speaking,
what can they really do?
They’re just bouncy inflated balloons.
A la virtual,
I let my creativity run,
like a stabled pony,
let out on a field..
and it all exists, because
I made and molded and placed it,
not just for my enjoyment,
but for anyone,
who wants to come…
and share it all with me.

Love it. 🙂 The joy and even silliness, the other realities that we’ve all discovered here… and your particular invention, avatars as living movie screens. Who would have thought?

Smiles proudly ..well that invention, as you know, was not born overnight:) You are my talented other half to each creation..that makes it all move…How cool is that…?

That’s so beautiful, Karima. Your creativity and love knows no bounds, and we are all lucky to be on the receiving end of such creativity and love. I loved every line and image, and this here is magic, “I built this world, from just a tear and an empty green square.” Amazing. 🙏🦋❤️☺️

Thank you Jeff..The video I posted before about this world I made for Nat, was more dreamlike and artistic…but I just wanted to point out a few amazing and yes, silly things too that one can experience in a virtual world..fb Ceo Mark Zuckerberg makes me giggle a bit. I think he thinks his fb Meta Virtual Grid is something new..when we have seen this in Second Life and all other Virtual grids, starting from 2004..So what’s new?
Yes thank you for liking that line..,all worlds or sims as they are called are a 256X256 meters green square. What you do with it, is up to you..It’s daunting and exciting to just let your imagination run free:) I am so glad you enjoyed this post… You, right from the start, really got me:) That means much to me, Jeff. You were open enough to see the possibilities:)🤗❤️

You’re most welcome, Karima. Always. Ahhh, that’s so true, I see that about Zuckerberg. Mmmm. Thank you for explaining that to me. So interesting. In that line I got green screen, which was close. How fun that is. I do get you, and am grateful to know you. Always possibilities. 🤗❤️

First Karima I just want you to know that watching this with the incredibly magical music, soft and tender was so relaxing. I felt like I was being transported into a fairy land as the trees colors were more and more shades of sheer loveliness. Things only children dream of. Fireflies, elephants and whales flying by, balls changing color and bouncing by in mid air. Changing dreams and your faces. It reminded me of when I was a child and I wanted to escape I would imagine climbing into a lovely painting. Something beautiful and experiencing what I imagined was past what I could see in the front of the canvas. A fantastical walk down a beautiful life and such detail. Just so incredible. The way you ended the experience with a picture of her as a child and then her taking off in an airplane. I felt like a happy little child getting that wish tonight. It made me cry. In fact it is hard to stop crying because the love shown was precious like a child’s love, innocent and special. I walked through a beautiful painting tonight and experienced a fairies world of beautiful images.
Thank you for sharing this with us. Sending you big warm hugs and lots of love. ❤️🤗🌹🥰🙏

Hi Joni, I passed your beautiful comment to the post about the Video, “The Natascha Randt Memorial” Thank you so much for this beautiful, sincere and really inspiring comment. I will post my reply here and also on the original post.. You totally allowed yourself to immerse in this world and that makes me so thrilled..because I do know, most people on WordPress are not going to the trouble to make an avatar and go in…so I was hoping those who saw the movie..and really allowed themselves to watch it, like you did, would feel that they went there, and would conjure up their own colorful memories.
Thank you for sharing all thoughts that came up when you watched it. I loved that you escaped by climbing into painting… I myself used to climb into flowered wall paper:) and be a small insect among giant flowers//so I really understand.
These words made me tear up, “It made me cry. In fact it is hard to stop crying because the love shown was precious like a child’s love, innocent and special.” That’s all I wanted to convey, with all the colors and the slow movement, the shifting pastel clouds and the music and and and… that the driving force to make this was love.. A great innocent love, as you sensed like child loves and thinks it can go on forever…Thank you Joni..Hugs you very tight..🤗❤️🙏

You are so welcome dear Karima. It was as if I was there and I felt everything I described. Interesting that you allowed yourself to venture into wall paper. We have lots of brilliant mechanisms to escape particularly as children. I felt like a child on a beautiful trip in fairy land or some place so special, I can not really explain it, except to say it was a gift my friend, for me to watch it. So thank you. Love you xoxoxoxoxo

Thank you so much for your glowing comment. I decided to do it in rhyme, sometimes incidental rhyme because I felt it went with the images…full of fantasy but very real in some respects, the best way to experience it, the virtual, is of course in person.
