“AI Dreams in Art” My 21st VR World in Gestation

Dale Innis, my collaborator of many worlds and projects has been playing with AI Art programs for some time. Quite a few paintings, he has turned out, have inspired my poetry, but lately he has been working with a program called Midjourney and it is a real game changer.

I am building a new world, “AI Dreams in Art” to curate his many genres of fascinating digital
paintings!!. We have just begun..but here are some previews to what it’s starting to look like.
All paintings will be free to those who visit the world. They can take any home with them to decorate their virtual abodes, businesses and worlds. “Sharing is Caring”

Ach, I cannot express how gratifying and appreciated this is! These wild new AI things enable the production of so many things so fast (I can think of new things to pronpt the system with, faster than it can produce them), that I’ve always known I needed some kind of curation to bring it under control. The idea that you would turn your unique world-building skills to the task… Well, it warms the heart. 🙂

The most I ever would have done is a web page, or a little square room with a few pictures on the walls! Even in its very nascent form, you’ve already done more than that; can’t image what you’re going to do next, but also can’t wait to see..

    • Awwww Dale…you are soo modest:) The least you deserve is a WORLD to hold hundreds and hundreds of fabulous digital art (something for everyone!!!! Cyberpunk Fashion, Snake Clans, Alien Fashion, Vintage Photography, Sunny Rooms, Starships, Strange Mechanisms, Detailed Surrealism, Stormy Seas, Elfwood, Architcture…the list goes on and on:) I am obsessed to show off your art in fabulous, unexpected and elegant ways. InshAllah!.. Wish me luck and I probably will need some of your scripting prowess too:):) Weeeee Love to have a new project!! Thank you Thank you!!

KARIMA, I thought you dumped me off of your “FOLLOWER LIST”. SOMETHING I SAID ?
If I said something to offend you, I humbly apologize. It would not be the first time when I have offended somebody. Usually when I offend somebody, it is because I tell them something they do not want to hear. Like… “The Truth”….. Sometimes the brutal TRUTH.
Wishing you well down there in Costa Rica Karima ! I love your writings and your art.
    I am a bit jealous !
    wishing you PEACE Karima !

    • Oh my marc…not at all…you must have “blown off” reading my replies:) Look for Lone Rider: Karima, Karima, this poem hit me like an arrow through my heart from ORION’S BOW !
It made me feel the same way I felt when I saw the SOUTHERN CROSS for the first time in the Heavens. You are ” killing me softly with your song ” STOP IT ! WHO ARE YOU ??
You are making me crazy ! STOP IT ! NO… DON’T STOP, DON’T STOP !!!

  4. Goodness, thank you for making this lovely art gallery available. It’s incredible what technology now allows us to do in terms of creating these types of virtual experiences, and it has clearly done wonders for getting exhibiting artwork in a whole new way. Congratulations on this achievement!

    • Thank you so much Joyce..This sim wide gallery is just in it’s nascent stage, but little by little it should see the light of day sometime in the next few months and we will open our doors to the virtual public and my WordPress readers alike (via a video) Thank you for your excitement and interest in this project and yes it IS Amazing what we can do now on computers…It’s making impossible realities…possible:)

    • Oh Jaya..I agree!! AI Art has that little “edge” that little perfect soulless quality (I like to call it,) but as the software programs get better, the digital art produced is amazing…and also completely yours (in this case Dale’s) but I know as this is what our world is all about, he’s always willing to share with others. Loved your comment!

    • Thank you so much Kaushal..Yes sound effects are something I loved when I first entered a virtual world..the sound really puts you there….and Life without sound is very sad indeed. Thanks for the encouragement.. I just love this beginning stage, where there is nothing planned except a broad concept and then…little by little it all falls together in place…. organically.

  7. Hi Karima,
This is great news and Dale certainly deserves the platform after being such an ardent supporter and collaborator with you. Coders are the poets of the digital age as they say!. By chance, I also have been exploring AI art making in the last couple of weeks. Nothing to speak of yet, but good to see great examples here. Must check out the site you mention.

    • Hi Chris, so nice to see your comment on my blog! That is cool that you too are dabbling in this fascinating medium. Dale says it’s very addictive, and curating his large, varied collection has been pretty addictive too. I will give you a private tour when it is ready.. Oh and love and agree with this too, ” Coders are the poets of the digital age ” No wonder we make a good team :):)
