“Time Has Come Full – Circle” by Dale Innis
Full – Circle
Maybe it was in another time
another life, another book
I read to fill my mind
but you were just as real
as when you were real
and you were really mine.
My night was a new moon loop
and you were trapped inside
round n round we went at midnight.
I always let you in;
how could I keep you out?
You still breathed within my mind.
I closed my eyes and waltzed you
that graceful dance you loved so much
like when you left on your last breath.
We knocked over the flowers,
the vases were falling to the ground…
Who says there’s no passion after death?

It is my birthday Karima, sing me a song in your key,
The black and white ones that I play to send you this message,
One Day, One dream, we may meet Karima,
My kindred sister…… Deo Volente !
Your kindred brother…..wishing you peace and serenity.
Mucho gusto mi Hermana !

What a beautiful & heartfelt poem…I could picture this poem right from the very line…the memory making moments, the dance, the talk, those moments…as if I were watching this real movie of yours…there’s so much love, passion, intensity & vulnerability…and so dreamy…beautifully expressed, Karima…Dale’s art is mesmerizing…multidimensional 💫❤️✨

Oh Navin, love the words you found to describe how my poem touched you, well you touched me with them! Thank you thank you my friend and yes, this felt a bit like a real/dream vignette..I saw it in my mind and for a minute it was so real..a memory? a wish? a dream? All of the above I think and I agree, Dale’s image is to lose yourself in… 🙏🤗🦋
