Backyard Bird Concert

Featured Birds

I have a special treat for you all today…
My backard birds, featuring the soloist and National Bird, (not the prettiest but that doesn’t matter, she sings like an angel  *Center photos.) She is The Yiguirro (a brown thrush) In the chorus we have, Toucans (two types) The Chacalacas, (bottom left..the size of a small turkey) and the Cuckcoo sounding Chirincocos (Bottom right).
I appologize if this is not perfect..they seem to be afraid of the conductor so they are pretty much on their own..
Enjoy my backyard birds in concert:)  Just press Play:)

Haha, the sorely-tried patience in the conductor’s voice! Love this. Beautiful bird-song, too, with a framing that only you could have come up with. 🙂

This is so creative Karima – we have been listening to it together in the kitchen we are both cooking. How totally cool to do a concert and literally compose music and then orchestrate. Brilliant composition, very catchy and also went so well with the beautiful sound of all the different enchanting birds. Thank you for sharing pictures and educating me today all about your version of the Wren. Scott said it is also dancible, we had fun with it. When I heard your beautiful voice start I was like only Karima would do a concert with her beautiful family of birds. Thank you so much sweetie. Love you so much and so wonderful to catch up as always.

    • So great to talk to you and I am thrilled you gave high marks to my bird ensemble hehe…They are pretty special. was so much fun doing this..took me most of the day as I was trying to catch our National Bird, The Yiguirro doing a solo and I finally got her. The most raucus birds you hear at the end are the Chacalacas.. we actually call them Paweelas(from an indiginous name. and when they decide to cry out together ..they are LOUD.. I love picturing you and Scott together in the kistcen, chopping away to my backyard birds How cool is that? Thanks so much Joni…you’re just the best!!! Love you and always the best for you…Inshallah❤️🙏🤗

Wow, that is quite the chorus! So many birds that sing so beautifully. I’m afraid I hear more crows than anything this time of year. I really enjoyed your birdsong clip, thanks!

    • Thanks so much…the birds are in mating season right now so everyone is singing. It’s really wonderful. Thank you for visiting and listening. I enjoyed your comment and as far as crows go… I love Corvids and had two Ravens 🐦‍⬛ in my earlier life. When I hear them, it reminds me of Wisconsin’s cold winters along Lake Michigan… very nostalgic for me 😀

I am laughing so hard at this. “They are afraid of the conductor.” The fact that you could think of this and put it together Ruca is a testament to your creativity!
