After 30 days of fasting from before dawn to sunset, prayer and devotion, empathy and generosity, and acts of good deeds, comes 3 days of celebration we call Eid al Fitr (The Festival of Breaking The Fast) The new moon was sighted on the 30th day of Ramadan (today) and Eid begins at sunset.Tomorrow we drink coffee in the morning!!
In Islamic countries, like Jordan, people wear new clothes and go to the mosque, visit neighbors and family, and serve coffee and delicious chocolates to the visitors.
I will miss this here in Costa Rica…but I feel happy that tomorrow is Eid.
I felt many blessings in this last month of Ramadan. Alhamdulillah…I am very grateful!
To all muslims everywhere in the world, to my family in Jordan and Abu Dhabi and in the USA, I wish you a very blessed and happy Eid… 🌙
Eid Mubarak!!
عيد مبارك إلكِ ولعيلتك❣️

I’m glad you had a lovely Ramadan. The mosque I attended for three years followed these traditions.

Thank you so much for commenting and how interesting they did, the sheikh was perhaps from that area or maybe Egypt..but sounds like Jordan or Lebanon or Syria.
