My Place of Peace
Because I am an avatar
weightless, my body but a
pixelated illusion,
when I want to find peace,
I go to my virtual Memorial
floating in the images
of what was, but now gone,
I feel an acceptance, a quiet assurance
that all is as it should be…
and in the changing textures,
the floating orbs that morph their colors
in a space I created from my imagination,
revolving to the music
I float around and around,
in my place of peace.

Oh yes, I agree Dale…the world today almost makes it obligatory to have such a place and Natascha’s Memorial has become that for me, years later after her death. I added Maki today as he is also a soul I miss very much..and somehow when I am in the virtual, I feel closer to my departed souls…if that makes any sense. Thank you for commenting:

Awww Nat was certainly that…in both still and machinima she had the soul of an artist…I feel closer to her everytime I float there and also feel such immersive peace:)

Es dulce recordar instantes del pasado. Los miramos con melancolía pues sabemos que ya no volverán, se quedaron ahí, pero nuestra vida sigue y tenemos que vivir el presente. Para mi, será un placer mayor leerte. Me conecto contigo. Un abrazo Karima

Thanks so much Dawn, it really is a cool place to be immersed inside. Nat did all the wild photgraphy you see . I just added my cat Maki who died on Good Friday this year..Makes me feel a bit closer to both of them:)

Thank you so much Kaushal…Nat is still very alive in me and when I want to feel even closer, I visit her memorial I created in my grief, when I lost her….and there I find peace.
