Hi everyone,.. I am so excited to share three invitation styles to our upcoming Smash Virtual Event on Saturday, May 17th at 1pm pst.
It’s a reality!! Thanks to Kimm Starr (who made the invitations too) and Virtual Vignette & Animaster, we are bringing Gino back to lead a fabulous fashion show (catwalk & all) and party afterwards, on my world, “Gino’s Butterfly” As she says, “through love, community, and technology” this is actually possible. Gino’s legacy will live on and on.
If it’s true everyone who knew him in Real Life, loved him, well now hundreds and hundreds in the virtual life will meet and love him too:)
I am serious, anyone who has a computer and would like to make an avatar and attend (It will cost you 0:) I will walk you through the steps on what you need to do:)
I am SOOOOOO Excited about this!!! Truly a dream come true!
Gino’s sketches will come to life, walk the catwalk entertain & delight!!
If you haven’t met Gino yet, just watch my video made for and about him.
Please watch in fullscreen, 4K and sound on:)
This is so great! 🙂 Having been privileged to see some of the setup for this behind the scenes, it’s going to be amazing. As a tribute to Gino, and as an all-out great time. You and Kimm have done great stuff here.

Thanks so much Dale for commenting and yes…I still am seeing this as a miracle. I feel like 10 and can hardly wait. We are expecting a good crowd and as I offered, if anyone wants to come in and join us in avatar form, I am more than happy to help them. Kimm is fantastic! Nothing less that a virtual artistic genius!!

I missed this Karima but I think I remember hearing about him at some point. This was so moving, so vivid and such a wonderful tribute to Gino. What a precious soul to know and share life together with. He had such a rich past. Love the imagery of Hollywood and his gifts that were so felt. The music was exquisite and your voice hypnotic as he transcended into no words only music and flew away, I felt I knew him with tears streaming as I said Goodbye. I’ve no doubt he visits you often. Thanks for sharing, your gifts and his with all of us, my friend! 💓

Thank you thank you Cindy for this beautiful comment. I posted about his death 5 years ago…but we all share a lot of information here and weekly. It’s not surprising you might not remember, and I decided to post the YouTube again so people know who he was for me and my family. After seeing his drawings parading the world…this fashion show, models wearing his clothes will seem even more miraculous:)Dale made the script for the butterfly to fly and I laid out its path up theough the roof into the hills of our town. The first time we ever saw it working, we both bawled our eyes out, Dale in NY and me in Costa Rica…Thank you for really feeling the depth of the ending Cindy and for enjoying it all.
