Re-entry by Karima Hoisan on YouTube

Hi everyone,
Please watch in 4K and put on CC to follow along with the poem.
T
his video and poem were inspired by my dear and best friend in Real Life, Jan Betts, a very renowned artist , who painted this painting, “Disintegration/Integration”
I wrote the poem , “Re-entry,” as soon as I saw it.
Jan gifted the painting to me on my next birthday, saying, ‘You understood what it was saying.”
It hangs proudly in my living room.
I dedicate this video to Jan and our life-long friendship. As someone said in a comment, “Death isn’t an exit, it’s re-entry into the universe…” Thanks to Dale Innis for particles & scripts, and to Lucho Ceriano for the water-drop sculpt. Filmed in both Second Life and on Kitely Virtual Worlds.
100% human- made No AI used.
Likes and Comments on YouTube too..always cherished:)
PS odd YouTube says I have no views, but I have comments and Likes. Hmmm:)

Love this! Lovely poem, and reading, and music, and visuals, for these beautiful philosophical thoughts. (And Jan’s paintings all look wonderful.) Death isn’t an exit, it’s re-entry into the universe…

  2. Wow, I love how the colors dissolve into the images and the power of this incredibly done piece, Karima. You’re words are so tranquil and offer truth in understanding on the spiritual level where fear makes way to peace. Bravo on this great production, my friend! 💕

Ohhh Cindy thank you so much…This video was a true labor of love for my dear, artistically gifted friend, Jan Betts. When I first saw this painting, I was inspired to write my poem Re-entry. Jan told me how much she loved the poem, and how it captured what her painting was saying. The next year, she came to my birthday party carrying the painting (it’s big!:) and said, “this belongs to you now” It hangs adorning my living room wall… This video is my “official” thank you to her:):) and yes the message is so beautifully true:):) Here’a a little link to YouTube…for hehe whatever:)

I left the same comment of YouTube – I love watching these on a full screen – the sound is amazing and the video so clear – just stunning.

I love the gorgeous painting. The large drop of water coming from the sky and dropping into a larger body of water, and the Koi is so vivid and captivating. What an amazing gift. I enjoyed the gallery scene and all the stunning paintings. The nun standing beside a body laid out and already pasted on, just a peaceful visual of reality. I like the way you had the clock ticking as you reference time. The bright orange flowers and greenery look as if it is floating like spirits. The bright orange leaves on the trees with branches that seemed interlaced, as we have all always been part of everything. The purple mushrooms are so vivid, as is the golden tree, while you recite about faith, and I love the way you had five-leaf clover instead of four. So clever of you, dear Karima. The sound of the water combined with the sound of your captivating voice is relaxing as you ascend into the afterlife. This is such a spiritual painting, and so is your poetry and the gorgeous work your team has done here. A gift filled with love. I always enjoy all the detail – even in the very beginning, as you are studying the painting, I love backless dresses with necklaces made to hang down the back (I have one I got in Seattle), but I have never been anywhere I have seen anyone else wear one. Thank you for sharing your gift with us, Karima, and for this piece of art you and your friends have created. Love, hugs, and blessings, my friend

This video touched my heart because of its beauty but also how it shares an emotional statement about the fact that all things are connected. We are spiritual beings but we many people don’t realize that nature is alive too. You created such amazingly stunning visuals with gorgeous flora and fauna. I felt like I was flying along with you. It was so amazing dear Karima. Your gift was so beautifully delivered in that painting and shared. Thank you 🙏 love you
