I originally wrote this poem on January 5th, 2022, inspired by so many influencers and social media Tik Tockers, YouTubers who pretend they are something or somewhere they are not. What is really really real?
I want to give my thanks to Bl!xx (Pablo Badilla, keyboardist) and his arrangement of my original music and for recording my voices and Ariel Soto on drums. A big shout out to JoeyTwoShoes, my mermaid twin for volunteering to do this with me.

This is excellent; yet again you’ve put your own unique spin on such a common experience. While also pointing out that we’re all a bit photoshopped, so to speak. 😁 And the humor, and that beat! are excellent.

Thank you again David and thank you for your comment on YouTube too! Yes this funny little 3 minute video, took a lot of planning, shooting and much reshooting until it was finally realized. Comments like yours make it all worth it too:) Oh and there is no animation in this video..these are live capture scenes using avatars who are being controlled on their computers, in this case, my avatar who was a mermaid and in all the other scenes with the Green Screen, and Joey, who was at the same time in Germany, controlling hers!! It’s pretty amazing when you think we can do stuff like this…that has predated Zuckerberg’s Meta dream by about 20 years.

I do remember you posted the poem long time back…it sounded like a song to me back then…the beat was built-in…and now watching this amazing Green Screen video is phenomenal…the lines, the voice, the music, the beat, the visuals – the totality of Green Screen on my mind screen is beyond 3D…the depth of your lines & this video is painfully beautiful…with healing effect…there’s fun & humour in what you’ve presented…we, as in humans tend to cover ourselves with this mask…the green screen… it’s quite obvious, this means a lot to you…Green Screen…that’s why you’re able to give life to your lines…brilliant work…your creativity…quite a journey…many congratulations, Karima…keep expressing & shining💫👏✨
