Underair Creatures
We are underair creatures.
We float and sway to currents
you can’t see,
but you see how we grab them
to spin and bob and effortlessly fly.
You are bottom creatures
heavy and will not know our joy;
you are also underair, but feed on the bottom
move ungracefully, stay very stationary
for long periods of time.
Look up and see what we show you!
On what is invisible to your eyes,
we cavort and fly.
We twist and hover, drift and soar
We too love the air but on what you breathe
to keep you alive
light and freewheeling, we were born to ride.

This gave me a big smile. 🙂 I love the idea of the “underair” and its gracefully, what?, air-swimming creatures. You put a fresh perspective on everything! Your words show us how their motions show us the ubiquitous air, which we can’t see directly. Merry Christmas to them, and to you too!
Ohhhh thank you Dale, the little underair creatures thank you too:) They just are so compelling..I’m at my desk, all of a sudden 2 are flying in tornado pattern. I just felt a breeze come in but they showed me it was a whirlwind…I’m learning new things, by observing them..They are adorable as they fly to other rooms, visiting..That light helium spirit is contagious:)

Everybody likes a good ride once in a while anyway. And who are the underwear creatures anyway ? How old are you Karima ? Ball park it. I am guessing 62 going on 23 ??? I am just a little curious. Maybe more than a little. I am alot older than you. I am 68 but looking forward to 69 happy and content. If there are he-lium fish…are there she-lium fish too ?

Haha Marc, not a biker chick not in my 60;s:):) but yes..always going on 23:) Yes we have Helium and shelium fish in this Airarium..They are really quite lovely…Happy New Marc Be well healthy and happy!!
