Changing up the pace from real life to avatar life today:)…Here is a video I made (when I barely knew what I was doing) for a Second Life-Real Life singer who is still performing in Second Life for more than 15 years. He was and is amazing!
I was just starting out making my machinimas (screen-capture videos) and inventing as I went along..(The Pre-Natascha Randt days) Still I think it captures the energy of Tukso’s music back then.. Every instrument you hear on this piece is played by Tukso. He uses a looper and lays down a song, track by track. It’s amazing to witness and hear:)
Enjoy and turn up the sound:)

Haha, the good old days… Great sound, really, and what a voice! I loved your poem with it, very hypnotic. Rock ‘n’ Roll!

Yes the really great old days of Second Life.. He was /is such a magnetic performer. He has had the ability to draw in big crowds for years and is constantly reinventing himself and his sound…. a true musical genius in my book:) Glad you liked the poem too…I wrote it one night while I was at his show dancing and there was such a collective sense of OMG this is the best show ever:):) I had to write it down..immediately:)

Thanks so much and you are right, his music was Raw and worked people up into almost a tribal frenzy:) I tried to capture that with my words and the movie scenes…You chose the perfect word:)

Thanks Ben as I said above it was made 11 years ago and I was experimenting..and I know you know about that… so yes a very different more rock n roll style, even the poem. It was a fun project to film and lots laughing tying to get it right..anyway, the quality improved so much when I joined forces with Natascha. At this point, when it was made, she was just my critic and not yet my partner:) So glad you enjoyed it:)

Thank you so much Grace..this was a real blast from the past, for me to revisit too. I think this was the movie Nat took notice of me. I found a line I will quote here:
“I also want to give a special thank- you, to a fellow Machinima Artist Guild member, who is a moderator and one I look up to for her experience, and her generous sharing of it with those of us less adept, Natascha Randt.” Who knew just a few months later we would team up on one video…and keep going and going. I love that about Life:) I was learning and experimenting and it was a great time. Thank you my sweet one:) for enjoying these relics
I drag up now and then. Don’t worry because….I have to follow that muse….she put a collar and leash on me..a long time ago:):)
Big hugs and thanks so much for this one:)

I loved the poetry. You too me back to 1976-1980. I was station in Germany. I took a train somewhere almost every weekend. I saw all the free countries at the time dear Karima. You are welcome dear friend.
