Soooo I totally jumped the gun as they used to say in my day,
and thought Spillwords had rejected me but….it looks like they didn’t:)
I received a letter last night from Dagmara K informing me that although this
poem is not part of the 13 Days of Halloween, it will be featured on October 26th.
She told me it was not necessary to remove this one, but I want to get the excitement rolling for the 26th on their site….so stay tuned to read and hear it on Spillwords next Saturday (if you haven’t already)
and I wanted to perserve your precious comments here too:)
When You & Are Were Vampires
When you and I were vampires,
strolling the foggy docks
down by the levee;
we were all knowing, all powerful.
Walking on the dark side, the night time
was our time and our venue,
blood red was the only color we sought,
to offset our black clothes, white faces,
cold skin…….

Actually I just heard from them, I might have to take this down, I don’t know yet, but they said they had so many entries,,and yet, they will publish mine on the 26th before the 13 days,..,I hope my posting this here does not affect that… crossing fingers
