    That is lovely!

The soul grows and thrives … with the less it has.

So wise. I need to declutter!

  7. So many poignant lives that linger in my heart that has everything and nothing and laments on the minuscule and the grand. The seeds of life covered yet radiating their beauty, the warmth and joy and the terror and destruction all umbrellaed under the same canopy and yet so distant and cruel. Wonderful poem to wake up to and share dear Karima!

    • So glad you enjoyed this one, Cindy, and I am getting more convinced that I might be a better poet when I’m asleep.:) I love your gorgeous take on it too…and I have been truly down and out twice in my life ( for years) and I look back at these times so fondly. I learned to be very appreciative of anything, everything, and so grateful to be alive:) Thank you so much for your poetic comment. Hugs!!

      • I sure did and I think maybe we both are on the same wave length writing in a trans as we sleep walk. I love your memory and tender embrace of the past and moving forward with such gratefulness for EVERYTHING! You’re welcome, I just read it and I was like what did I just say.. lol Hugs and always love ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

    I once got married

in the the great state of Chaos

    where the currency is dysfunction

    as everything

    is either profit or loss

and love is just another orphan

on the cold streets of Bedlam

    now I’m glad to say . . .

    I’m forever married

    in my new hometown

    of Providence where abundance

is in the eye of the beholder

and in the hands of my sweet lover

    ❤️ 💛 ❤️

what no one else can see

what no one else can know

    between my lover and me

    there seems to be

    this invisible golden glow

    far greater than the sum

    of two mortal hearts

    it could only come

    from somewhere high above

where no one else can see

where no one else can know

    unless they’ve been touched

by that special kind of love

    with a heavenly golden glow

    ❤️ 💛 ❤️

Thanks for your inspiration, Karima 🙏😎
