Slow Dance Zone
You said to me……
“I know now how to stop time on the sunrise tracks,
and then send you home in the evenings refreshed and relaxed.
I know how to speed it up and how to make the stress
go away
I’m here to help ease you in and out of your crazy days.
I will slow dance you into the mornings
bend you backwards in the aisles of a commuter train.
I will make us almost transparent, just a fading light
that weaves into itself, phantom and opaque.
Love is what glows and flows out and around us
people nearby begin to smile and stop texting on their phones.
Something in the air starts to move them, as they surround us
with eyes that vaguely realize…
we’re a couple in our own slow dance zone.”
The conductor moves right through us, but we don’t lose the beat,
and the hustle bustle clank and creaking trestles, just sound so sweet.
We stay swaying in the rolling aisles locked in our own time
When I pull you into me, there right then, because you’re mine.

What a lovely idea! Lots of people on that commuter train would probably benefit from a good slow dance. I love how they are there but not there, just visible to the people who might notice, but the conductor passing right through them…

I love the fantastic possibility of Virtuality (the Avatars dancing) meets Reality as depicted by Artifical Intelligence. (heehee). What a fusion:):) Seba’s dreamy sax sets the tone so nicely… This was a fun collaboration once again…Thank you Dale!!

I agree soulkin.. a sax is almost always sultry without even trying:):)Thanks again for liking the crazy ideas we realize…I love the idea of transporting Second Life to an aisle on a crowded train to just be in their own slow dance zone… Maybe someday with holograms it might all be possible:)

Beautiful lyrics to such dreamy music. I love how you see something so surprisingly sweet and soft in Dale’s picture that most people wouldn’t ever come up with 🙂

I am honored you feel this way..but remember…I am 76 years old.:):).Age is sometimes a large barrier to get people to even listen to you, take you seriously..Is why, when Nat and I were doing commercial; videos, I was only in ageless avatar form…but thank you again.
