Hi everyone,
I know I have been a little scarce here lately, but I am going to show you today why:)
I finally bought a new laptop after more than 8 years and now projects are
possible to realize.
Over the past 12 years, I have created 21 worlds on a platform called, Kitely in Opensim.
Many of these, I think 13, were done in conjunction with Dale Innis on scripts.
Only Dale can change a horse into a boat as you will see:):)
This is similar to Second Life but allows more freedom and economic
possibilities to even maintain 21 worlds (I keep them going for about $40 a month)
If something ever happened and this grid was no longer in existence, I would lose all
of them and my son was saying that I should film each one, to have at least the YouTube proof of their existence. Plus most of my readers on WordPress will never visit a virtual world…so now you can see what you’re missing hehe. Natascha and I made a short teaser for this world in 2021 (It was Nat’s last project) but we never showed what it’s really like to go inside and Ride!!
This is a big job, but I have begun with Part 1 of The Wizard.
As I say on YouTube:
“The Wizard is a virtual world on Kitely Virtual Worlds, created by Karima Hoisan & Dale Innis. This is the 1st part of a 3 part video trying to capture the whole world in 3 sections. The actual tour takes 30 minutes and it is automatic. This 1st part show’s how after you sit on the horse, you are totally under The Wizard’s power until you stand up at the very end. This is not meant to be great machinima, just capturing on film one of our worlds. *footnote my space navigator (3D Mouse) skills need polishing…sorry if you feel like a weaving drunk was behind the camera…I hope to improve:):)
So Please watch it Fullscreen and in HD! All the sounds you hear, you will actually hear, if you jump on a horse and fall under the Wizard’s spell. All particle effects were created by Kurk Mumfuzz from Second Life and scripted by Dale Innis. I conceived and built the world you will see.
This is what it looked like when I started:
This is what it looks like now:)
